Education is at the heart of Esorm. Our elementary school, New Hope Christian Academy in rural Zwedru, first opened its doors to vulnerable children in September 2012. We serve children aged four to twenty one from preschool to grade six. We believe that education is the key to increasing capacity and potential in each individual. Because of the extremely high rate of illiteracy outside of the capital of Monrovia, job opportunities are very scarce and most people earn less than $2 a day. High child mortality rates due to preventable diseases and malnutrition are one of the effects of low income. The people in the community there desire to educate and empower their children to discover their unique talents and reach their God given potential in life.
